Chancelor Davis is a vintage and modern design dealer based out of Chicago, IL. His 3,000 sqft warehouse and gallery space, located at 329 W. 18th St. near Chinatown, houses an eclectic variety of furniture and objects primarily from the United States, Scandinavia, and Italy. There’s a little bit of everything: notable, classic, and obscure 20th century design that ranges from art deco, mid century modern, and postmodern movements to primitive antiques. The common thread is thoughtfully sourced furniture and decorative objects that are applicable to a range of contemporary interiors. As part of the collective of dealers located in the 329 building, he hosts open hours at his gallery one weekend each month, and is also open by appointment.
